The Megapark Progresses Steadily with 77%

The mayor of Manta, Marciana Valdivieso, spread enthusiasm during her tour of the Megapark on July 2nd, where she confirmed the 77% progress of this emblematic project.

The 7 hectares of green areas that the Megapark will have will make it a true oasis for the city. A space to breathe fresh air, enjoy contact with nature, and find a moment of peace in the midst of the urban environment.

The installation of natural grass in the main parking lot is underway. The open-air theater with a capacity for 4,500 people and the microtheaters for 300 will be the perfect setting for cultural and artistic events, featuring underground dressing rooms and halls for the artists.

A space for local and foreign talent, music, theater, and dance, in a privileged location. Additionally, it will be a space where children can play in a specially designed 2-hectare area, while adults can enjoy cycling, walking, or simply sitting to rest and contemplate the landscape.

Mayor Valdivieso emphasized that the aim is to rebuild the social fabric of the city, decontaminate the coastal profile, and create opportunities for the development of the people of Manta.
